Web Scraping
Web scraping: methods, decisions, and practical workflows
Web scraping is the process of extracting selected information from web pages and turning it into a structured format you can work with.
The core decision
Choose the lightest method that reliably gets the data you need. A copy-and-paste task may not need automation; a recurring catalog or market dataset probably does.
No-code versus code
No-code tools can reduce setup time for analysts and operators. Code-based approaches give developers more control. The right choice depends on page complexity, scale, maintenance tolerance, and downstream requirements.
Design for maintenance
A scraper is useful only while it continues returning correct fields. Plan for page changes, authentication, pagination, rate limits, and validation rather than treating the first successful run as the finish line.

Responsible-use note: Access controls, source-site terms, privacy obligations, and applicable law can limit what you should collect. A tool being technically capable of extraction does not by itself establish permission.
