Web Scraping
Web crawling vs web scraping
Crawling discovers pages; scraping extracts data from pages. They often appear together, but they solve different problems.
Crawling
A crawler follows links or URL patterns to discover and fetch pages. Search engines are the familiar example.
Scraping
A scraper targets the page content and returns selected fields such as names, prices, tables, dates, or links.
Combined workflows
A catalog project might crawl category pages to find product URLs, then scrape each product page for structured attributes.
Tool choice
Some no-code tools focus primarily on extraction and pagination, while developer frameworks often expose more explicit control over discovery logic.

Responsible-use note: Access controls, source-site terms, privacy obligations, and applicable law can limit what you should collect. A tool being technically capable of extraction does not by itself establish permission.
